"God knows. If I have a bath, which is very rare, I always have a shower afterwards! "
Am the same. Just the thought of lying in your own muck . And as I have long hair I can only really get it clean by having a shower |

What a coincidence , i just finished my bath . You fill up your bath and you add to the water some gel bath or bombshells . In in the bath laid down and relax , i always have music . After relax and you had washing yourself, use the shower attached to the bath for final clean if you don't have shower atached you cam use a mug , cup whatever to shower yourself with the water from the bath |

My shower broke a couple of days before Christmas. The attachment we got for the bath taps was shit so I had to wash my hair using a jug then run a bath. There's 5 of us in this house.
Do you think I could find a proper plumber to come round?? Nope....I had to rely on a handyman who has temporarily fixed while we wait for a plumber to come round. I bet he doesn't, they don't seem interested in little jobs. Wankers |

Good grief, didn't realise this was a serious thread! I have a bath everyday, lots of bubbles, soap, etc, listen to music and use the time to shave my body completely as I can't abide bodily hair. I don't work in a coal mine so don't "wallow in my muck" and I defy anybody to tell me I'm not clean.
I do use a shower for my hair though. And I did laugh at the idea of a Karcher Power Washer lol xxx |

From a different perspective, I much prefer a Bath, as hot as possible, to ease the Osteoarthritis pain & aches in my knees and legs.
I can't get the same pain relief in a shower. However, the bath is only used for roughly 10-15 minutes max, for best effects.

I bath daily, there really isnt that much "muck" to be "wallowing in" lol.
I use bath bombs and shower gel and always told I smell (and taste ) great.
If you bath less than once a day...then yes a bit dirty. |

Laying in my own muck
Laying in my own filth
makes me wonder what these people do during day to got so mucky and filthy,
I enjoy a shower each morning and lay back in a hot deep bath each night,
works for me. |

I mean I have both.
Showers are for mornings and baths are for nights.
If I didn’t have the shower, I still wouldn’t be dirty enough to worry about sitting in my own dirty bath water. |

"Haven’t fit in a bath for years. #TallGuyProblems "
Ha, same here.
I just find when I’m in a bath I start off too hot, then I soon become too cold. And I get bored quite quickly, which is strange as I can stand in the shower for hours! Maybe I’m doing it wrong! |

I only bath, showers are painful for me.
I bath frequently so im not lying in my own muck
I wash my hair in the bath and rinse the bubbles out a shower attachment, before we had that i used a jug with fresh water.
I always feel, smell and taste clean. |

I always shower before a bath so I'm not lying in my own stink.
I remember I had to use our bath for a few days at one stage as our shower was getting fixed and I hated it. I just felt gross and couldn't wash my hair properly at all. I'm definitely not a bath person. |

"There's always the karcher power washer. Lol"
Could try the WORX Hydroshot cordless power washer, draws its water from a freestanding bucket, fill the bucket with hot water, pull the trigger, Instant shower |

I watched a programme about this and they swabbed people after a shower and a bath. You don't get totally clean from a bath but you don't from a shower either, you get covered in mold spores and the water that bounces off the walls/shower curtain/screen makes you dirty too. Both ways get you clean enough though, we don't need to be sterile. Though Alan Patridge adds a cap of dettol to his bath water which is probably the closest you'll get |

Is this a serious thread? Unless you have been wallowing in mud all day you will be clean from a bath due to soap and lots of water, the amount of daily muck won't be enough to deter this, more muck sits on your clothes than your skin but we still wear clothes everyday. |

Reminds me of my grandparents ,they used a capful of Dettol religiously in the bath. |

"How mucky are you people?! I can't say I ever feel the need to get a shower after I've had a soak in a bath."
I do for my hair. Can’t wash my hair in the bath! Especially with all the bubbles. |
