I had a meet, we were getting on great. I got told to go ahead to their hotel get a drink then meet them in their room.
I did that. Get a text ‘sorry mate, another time.’
Nothing since. Baby sitter wasted. |

What more annoying is that there was a couple messaging me who are amazing, in my eyes asking me to go theirs.
I had agreed with the first couple originally though.
Now the other couple are having their fun.

Seems a bit odd. They could’ve at least said over drinks that they didn’t want to take it further that night. Some people don’t appreciate the arrangements others have to make to get a night out.
I’ve been in that situation too where my kids are at my Mum’s and then I’m at a loose end. Not the first time I’ve gone to the cinema myself. |

There was a reason you just don't know it.
Maybe one of them wasn't comfortable, the lady could have got her period, anything could have happened and its ok to decide they don't want to take things further.
At least they showed up and didn't leave you hanging.
I know it's not a good feeling but it is their prerogative to change their mind.

Don’t get down mate, it happens to the best of them. You may never know why they choose to back out but maybe there was more to it than you knew. They may of loved the excitement of adding someone else so they got what they wanted. |

Sounds like when they went off together away from you they had a conversation that changed things.
Maybe the guy got jealous
Maybe one wasnt feeling it at all and said so when you couldn't see or hear it instead of being negative towards you or didn't want to embarrass themselves or the other half. |

The problem is, by meeting for a social, sex shouldnt be expected. So many assume that because you've agreed to meet them that you've agreed to sex. This is so so wrong.
But yes, pants indeed that they sent you ahead to the hotel and let you down via text. Chalk it up to experience x |

I don't think the OP is upset because he didn't get his end away. I think it's more the way they messed him around. If they'd just told him they weren't feeling it tonight instead of sending him to sit in the bar like a lemon, that would have been perfectly fine. Why waste his time sending him to the hotel? |
