...in brick?

Just wondering if I need foundations or build straight onto concrete base under existing wooden one?

Approx 6'x8'

If it's built in brick then it wouldn't be classed as a "temporary" structure and so may be subject to building regulations

If the existing base is sound, it's a straight replacement. If not you might be able to patch/fix it. Having it stable and level is the main thing. If the ground is stable you can even just build onto properly set slabs. It's a good idea to place timber bearers down too. It will help stop the floor rotting sooner. A lot of the self assembly galvanised sheds are good too.

Depends on the thickness of the base and if it has re-bars around the outside edge which I doubt.

If you can maybe dig a strip foundation around the edge of the base which then becomes your floor!!

You could put shingle down for the wooden base to go on or a plastic base for the wooden floor beams. The plastic bases work really well but you need to level the ground.
