2020 is gonna be a big one for me, I've already lost 7 stone but I've let it creep back on in the last few months so I'm not happy again. I want to lose another stone or two, particularly work on my mum tum. Plus my general fitness is shocking so I am gonna kick myself Into gear. Bring on the new year

Work on getting down to 14.5 stone and then start to tone , went vegetarian and noticed I felt healthier straight away , not for ethical reasons , for health |

Lots of goals!!
Hitting the menapause last year, massive weight gain, loosing my gym mojo
So, get my arse back in the gym, start training again, soon as the kids are back at school.
3st to loose, and get those lifts going again.
I doubt I'll be ready to compete this spring, but it's definitely an end of year goal |

"I'll be carrying on lifting weights for aesthetics and condition but also smashing hill runs and tabbing for military fitness. Train hard fight easy!"
fuck yeah
I'm tempted by the Fan Dance in July. Wanted to do it for 6 years, always talk myself out. |

Really to stay the way I am. I'm less than 10 stone, a blood pressure reading of a 20 year old (so the doctor said), low cholesterol and reasonably fit.
I just need to get back into swimming 3 times a week. Had the flu at the beginning of December and haven't been since |

Nothing too drastic, just be more consistent at the gym to actually try and improve!
And stick with my mostly carnivore (KetoAF) way of eating along with trying a few more regular fasts, up to 24h.

I would like to be fitter generally. I bought a hula hoop earlier this year and still can't get past about 30 seconds before it falls
I'd like to start walking again, I used to walk for hours a couple of years back. |

What’s your time for 50m? I presume it’s front crawl.
My fitness goal is to lose some weight, try and climb a monroe and keep having fun on Fab. |

Definitely want to get back to the gym to lose weight and tone up a lot. Hard with life and work commitments but I have to do it. Would love to strip away enough belly fat to reveal some sort of ab. |

Not to become a couch potato and make sure o get out and brisk walk every day, now not rushing around for work or school run. Never been in a gym, but will make use of the free outdoor ones we have and see what happens |

Continue as we are, both lost over half a stone recently due to change in diet and exercise routine.
Going to add a 30 minute sex session to our daily workout, if it doesn't help us lose more weight who cares. |

Here is something from the other thread I did " Here's a question for you "lifters" that ive always wondered. When you do a press up, I wondered. When you do a press up, what percentage of your body weight are you pressing? So if someone weighed 100kg, and they did one pushup, how much are they "lifting" ish?"
I'm 72 kg and bench 100 for reps you do the simple maths
If I do a press up I can do a full body push up that's 72 kg or a split weight at any ratio I want standard plank would be approx 60 percent bw thus 60 kg for 100 kg man or 42 ish for me
Power to weight is always my method, always trying to improve my planche iron cross single arm pull ups basically anything that compliments a mountain athlete" I reckon a push up uses 70% of your body weight but by doing a decline push with your feet up on a sofa or something else the weight is slot higher, so the higher you place your feet the harder and heavier it will be |

Arm and hip angles shag takes us from 25 to 100 percent
The planche push up is a bastard 100 % bodyweight at disadvantage lever angles
I do progressions using parallel bars

I got two sets of scales out, and did a push up. Each arm had 25kg on it. So the 2/3 ration works as im 75kg. |

my goal is to lose 20kg (without shrinking my boobs), achieve the fitness level of a marathon runner, tone up everywhere and do it without changing my diet or exercising |

I wish you well today I decided my 30 wk goal is going to be
Permanently lose 1.5 kg fat
Add 1kg to my bodyweight
Deadlift 190 kg for reps
Dumbbell chest press 100 kg for reps
One arm pull ups for reps
And enhance my serotonin levels naturally and smile every day
I will be adjusting my exercises and nutrition to ensure my goals are reality x |

Well 2019 was a landmark year for me insofar as I finally managed to fix the weight issue that has been pissing on my chips since adolescence. I've dropped from about 120kg to 80kg, I'm aiming for about 75 which is meant to be optimal for someone of my height and gender. In clothing terms I've gone from barely fitting a 42" waist and XXL shirts to a 32" and medium. I feel so much better it's unreal. (nb the obesitiy was mostly caused by cortisol overload causing magnesium deficiency more than poor diet - I've generally always eaten fairly healthily, however I have now reduced my intake of starchy foods by about 90% so no rice, pasta, potatoes or bread except for a couple of times a week. I've never been a big sugar eater, but I do still have a few pints dozen the pub a couple of times a week, and wine with dinner so I've not gone completely mental lol.
My goal for this year is to lose the remaining wobbly stuff then focus on building my stamina and getting more toned. I'm hoping the loose folds of skin go away though as my belly looks a bit like a deflated balloon now! I'm not a big fan of the gym so I am aiming to achieve this through working more physical jobs - typically I've been a desk-jockey - and once the weather improves, swimming and more outdoorsy stuff. |

My goal is to do a lotus headstand and handstand splits. I do yoga 4-5 times per week so I’m working on it.
Would love to train to be a yoga teacher too. |

Sort my knackered back out and shift the timber that's crept on while I've been hurting. I don't have a full game plan just yet, but it looks like it will involve physio, a course with a PT, some yoga/pilates and possibly an osteopath. Tomorrow I see my GP... |

Also been hit by the menopause and put a stone on since June! Need to reverse this before it becomes permanent!
Lots of job, home and financial goals this year - but fighting against the backdrop of a young daughter with severe depression. Seems to be one step forward and two steps back. Hoping that’ll change this year. X |

Thanks. At the moment it’s just hard trying to persuade her that life is worth living. Running out of ideas/avenues. This is when being a single parent is shite - no-one to share the burden or just hug you and tell you it’ll be ok!
