I'm self employed. With the way the economy is right now, things are quiet. So my time is my own more or less.
By god..... I still find it hard to keep up with the amount of mail we get. I feel quite strongly about replying to all the sensible mail we get (Folk who make an effort but arent our cup of tea get a friendly few lines back, faceless one line twats get blocked..) but it takes bloody ages. Bout 1 1/2 a day if I was gonna keep on top of it.
I just wanted to point this out to the single guys that do make an effort. Just cos you dont get a reply doesnt make the recipient rude in my opinion. It means they have a job, life, perhaps kids, friends and god forbid other interests. I reckon your best bet, if you actually have a decent profile, pics and made an effort, is a polite, brief, reminder about two weeks later.
Getting pissy about the lack of response, what we are missing and then asking when we are free.....is just laughable.  |
