If you hang the washing out on the line and it rains before its dried... do you then leave it til the rain has passed and its re dried..

or do you have to re wash it?

ps.. i do the 2nd option

The rain has stuff in it. You have to wash again. You don't want the stuff in your clothes.

You could make the same argument about the "fresh" air! Or the innards of a tumble drier - ewwwww!

The fresh air and tumble drier also have stuff in them but they don't make your jeans feel like cardboard like dried rain.

Stuff is funny.

I'll try that, although I rarely part with my pocket fluff collection as you well know. Do you fancy another stint as my lab assistant? Research has stalled.

If you have aqua wash fobia to name it correctly. take a tip from my self written life skills manual. Washing on a rainy day section. In the unforeseen circumstances of pishing it doon after the birds done the washing, and she crying like you ate her last rollo, the fat bitch. Simply let her understand there is no alternative. Simply wear all the clothing and vigorously clean the house from top to bottom. Simples

I dont put mine out nowadays as I discovered it was one of the things that aggrevated my hayfever. But when I did I always washed it again if it rained.

I seriously tut at one of my neighbours who leaves hers out for days in rail hail and bird poo.

But in the scheme of things its probably not one of the worse things my neighbours can do, they could be holding swingers parties and Id be excluded for judging them on there laundry habits!!

Yes but it just takes about 2.5 weeks to get long enough without rain for it to dry....
