Nay. I had a lot of problems with it and it all started with the opening crawl. It had one cool moment involving a lightsaber and the Force but that was it. |

Love Star Wars and really like the new ones too!
It's the end of the Skywalker saga but I give it 2/3 years and they'll make a spin-off film or start another Star Wars story with all new characters. |

"I like the spin offs and plagiarized better:
Nintendo's Starwing and Family Guy's Blue Harvest.
Stewie as Darth Vader.....class "
I showed that to my partner and she nearly exploded laughing.
If you think Stewie looks good as Darth Vader; then you should see him in AIRWOLF as Dr Charles Henry Moffet.
I have done some of the artwork. Bloody hard work, I can tell you.
Not in the slightest bit stereotyped at all, Your Honour! English accent, evil genius and still 2 foot nothing in a giant black helmet and Arabic clothing.
Giving AIRWOLF the FAMILY GUY treatment, is all my idea and has been a work-in-progress since 2014.
Family Guy did 3 Star Wars films as you know and they are better than the original. So why not do Airwolf in the same vein? The main villain Dr Charles Henry Moffet was the creator and thief of Airwolf. He was a tortured evil genius who had an upper class English accent...sound familiar anybody.
I would love this to go viral (Dream on. Ed) and maybe to Seth McFarlane et al
The cast would be
Chris Griffin - Stringfellow Hawke
Peter Griffin - Dominic Santini
Stewie Griffin - Dr Charles Henry Moffet
Carter Pewtersmidt - Archangel
Joe - The Senator
Joe's Wife - Marriella
Glen Quagmire - Test pilot, Moffet's team
there's more to follow
?Why "She's a lady", well in the programme Dom, the hopeless romantic dotes on that machine...and the song by Tom Jones makes it funny too. |

No.
Which is a shame, because, believe or not, I was chatting to the head of special effects on the Star Wars films in the pub last night.
I went to school with his wife, who’s the head of IL&M. She was there too |

They’ve already announced there are three more Star Wars movies to be released starting in December 2022, then every alternative year. It’s not clear whether a trilogy or standalones |

"Disappointed rouge one was a better film
I genuinely think Rogue One is my favourite Star Wars film now, just ahead of Empire.
Totally agree with this! "
Even think Solo was better than expected. We struggle to get into the Kylo ones as we keep thinking Lena Dunham is gonna pop up |

I think rogue one is the best too. Seems all lot to do with pace of the film, it seamlessly blends into the start of a new hope.
The rise of skywalker was ok, but i thought there was too much to information to take in. It would have worked better if it was spread out a bit i think. |

Agreed and why I’m hoping the next three films are stand alone rather than another trilogy |

Yay.
Honestly the majority of the expanded universe/legends stuff is far superior to any of the movie cannon stuff. A few exceptions of course.
It went from one man's vision and passion with no political agenda tick boxes, to one filled with them because the person in charge of lucasfilm has zero passion for it. Regardless of the hate that the prequels get, it flowed far better and had a more connected plot line across the 6 movies. Than the sequels had in their own trilogy of the saga. Because it initially had a plan from 1-3.
There is a reason Rogue one is so good, Kathleen Kennedy had very little involvement in that movie compared to 7-9 and solo. She has had even less involvement in the TV stuff, those have turned out extremely well.
They need to realise they have a whole library of material that they can pull from that is amazing instead of trying to be edgy with new content. The skywalker saga and era is over.
There are lots of amazing characters that they can pull from. Revan being one of the best.
Drop Kathleen Kennedy as head of lucasfilm, put in John Favreau and Dave Filoni and you have yourself potential to keep the spirit of what star wars is. |
