"Scouse. Like marmite for people. Its not that thick squeaky annoying scouse, more slow and relaxed"

Are you not originally from Preston? I wouldn’t class Preston as scouse at all

"I'm Australian, but have lived in the UK for 4 years. People from the UK immediately spot me as an Aussie, however Aussies have a tough time picking where I am from.

I have a somewhat similar issu. Ehen I speak English, French people think I'm English but British people usually know that I'm not from here but struggle to guess French.

Ah so you're really from Belgium "

Haha, you're not far far actually... But still French.

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

I was born and dragged up in 'Ull, but moved to the country when I was 16, but have never lived further than 25 miles from 'Ull, so I have the East Yorkshire accent, which is different to other Yorkshire accents.

Mild Scottish.

I've narrated a couple of erotic short stories and I'm told my accent works well (pm me if you'd like to hear one).

If a talk in English it's Yorkshire but mixed, but if chat in Arabic it's Arabic so the dialect has no real accent.

Mine’s a bit of a hybrid: Australian, London, midland and Birmingham. Although Ive been told I also sound like from Essex and Kent.

Now staying in Yorkshire during the week, so expect I’ll pick up another accent!

I remember Sharm. I passed through a few times changing bus from Seuz heading up to Dahab back in the hippy days before the big hotels moved in - I used to work in the Bamboo House. Tarabin too, when it was just two tiny little huts on the beach.
