"Nope. Will be glad when this fiasco is over. Did you get something nice OP?"
To be fair I’m with you on the ‘pleased when it’s over’ I tend to receive practical things these days - bath products etc but I did get a lovely mirrored tray |

This is the first year our children have put together a stocking for us. They know me quite well ~ chocolates, de stress face mask, lip balm, gin miniature. Also my 18 year bought everyone in the family a few bits out of his own money, I'm very touched
Merry Christmas all x |

I don’t care about material goods, although I did receive a nice little surprise. I’ve spent the last 3 nights at my parents which has been priceless for them and I’ve learned more about my ancestry than I care to reveal.
I hope you all have had a day to remember, here’s to another beautiful year xx |

I don’t know yet my Xmas day starts tomorrow at 12 when my little lad is delivered to me.
Unfortunately I didn’t get to unwrap any nice presents today as I was visiting my elderly mother. |

I didn't ask for much!
Big new TV for my bedroom, a Beast teddy, a Nightmare Before Christmas journal, all four Toy Story films in DVD, a Star Is Born on DVD, few bits of chocolate, two out of the three sets of Black Widow pencils (a fab friend bought me the other set for my birthday) and a set of skin tone Black Widow pencils, a Jasmine Becket-Griffith colouring book and the collector's edition of the first book in The Book Of Dust.
Still got some presents to swap with my best friend tomorrow, and my above mentioned fab friend has ordered a present to be delivered to my doorstep. I'm none the wiser to what it is though. |

I buy my own gifts now these days. This year there was no unwrapping as it was a holiday and lots of experiences with my boys.
I have however bought a gorgeous necklace and oil painting to take home. |

I got the usual t shirts etc, but what made this Christmas excellent was my ex wife came round, helped cook Christmas dinner, which then tasted great, then we went upstairs to have a little rest, and ended up having great sex for two hours, then a bath for half an hour, all while drinking good red wine, unfortunately she’s gone home now. Great memories |

As usual, my brother and his family sent nothing not even a card.
Even after years of this scenario, I always hope he'll improve but still nothing!
But I went out to help others, at a Xmas Day Lunch for those who are alone on this day.

I know the customs stink but i normally wait for their sales. I think it was only 20 euro i had to pay the last time between customs and carry fees so that wasnt too bad. I wish they would open a thing in england or somewhere close. Beauty bay and look fantastic are normally my go to websites now |

This year all three of my kids bought me presents with their own money instead of their dad getting them - so it meant much more!
