They didn't hold it last year because of the political situation, The fact that they're holding it this year would suggest that the situation has improved.
It hasn't
Even Max Mosley's coming out and saying Ecclestone is a prick for holding it |

It's no worse than having one in China, India, Abu Dhabi or Korea. Leave them to it, it's their country and if they want an F1 race and Ecclestone thinks it's safe to stage one there who is anyone else to say it isn't. I'm sure Ecclestone has become quite adept at protecting his interests and he wouldn't want a race in a country where there is a risk to the teams or the spectators. |

If your sole God is money, then it's a good thing.
There are plenty of other tracks, many traditional ones favoured by the teams/drivers themselves, that would be glad to hold a race instead of Bahrain. |
