A) They have either given you advice before and you’ve not followed it which has pissed them off, so they are telling you to do what you want.
B) They are not that bothered so are just telling you what you want to hear as they can’t be arsed with it.
C) They want you to be happy so they are telling you to pick the best option that suits you. That is, do what YOU want to do. Listen to your gut sort of thing.

It means that they think that you will have the insight to know what to select to do. It's better too if you take the decision, rather than having it taken by someone else. Personal accountability, rather than outsourcing it, gives you a better chance of learning and growing. |
