I loved the New Romantic era, I was able to experiment with weird and wonderful makeup.

My favourite band was Soft Cell, but I liked Japan (David Sylvian is gorgeous), Depeche Mode, Duran Duran were ok, Nick Rhodes being my fave. All those pretty boys, was absolutely great

Japan are the epitome of the New Romantic movement as far as I'm concerned but, having said that, "To Cut A Long Story Short" is an iconic song from that era. Human League were too 'pop' for my liking. Loved The Thompson Twins though, even though there were three of them.

Numan was Electric Pop. Certainly not New Rom.
