I loved the New Romantic era, I was able to experiment with weird and wonderful makeup.
My favourite band was Soft Cell, but I liked Japan (David Sylvian is gorgeous), Depeche Mode, Duran Duran were ok, Nick Rhodes being my fave. All those pretty boys, was absolutely great  |

Japan are the epitome of the New Romantic movement as far as I'm concerned but, having said that, "To Cut A Long Story Short" is an iconic song from that era. Human League were too 'pop' for my liking. Loved The Thompson Twins though, even though there were three of them.  |
