Sat in bath having a soak and need to shave. At the moment I use a philipshave but in the past I used a cut throat razor for a clean shave. I love to start using one again but prefer my ears on my head.
Anyway the question
Have you ever used a cut throat razor and secondly did you prefer it |

I try to get my beautiful five foot tall barber to use the cut throat razor around the back of my neck after cutting my hair, but she is too chicken to do it. It does give a good cut though, but she is only just out of school and just qualified and I do not think it is a skill that was taught to her. |

I use i cut throat razor, best razor ever. Takes a lot of getting used to and made a proper mess of my face to begin with but now it's like a babies bum. Definitly worth getting used to. |

My Nana taught me to use a straight razor- after my Papa had a stroke and could no longer manage .... only one other guy has ever been brave enough to allow me to wield it anywhere near him.  |

I was very lucky my grandfather always used one and taught me has soon as I started to shave. He always said best thing you could carry was a cut throat razor, could use it to butcher meat, kill people and shave. He always said a good marine always carried one |
