Help guys
My car Kees running when I turn the engine off!
Just started doing it yesterday and thought it was a one off but done it again today. ?? I have a long trip Christmas Day, need help x |

It sounds like it's possessed by demons. An exorcism may help  Failing that, it could just be the cooling fan running on. Quite common in cold weather after heavy traffic. |

There are quite a few things it could be ranging from a faulty ignition switch to worst case scenario pre ignition caused by carbon build up ..
How far is your journey ?
personally I wouldn't risk it mainly because it might turn off on its own and not restart..
Is there any chance you could hire or borrow a car instead. |

Almost certainly switch or relay as described
Driving should be of no concern although if stopping for a break starting may be difficult if it were the switch nothing break down cover would not solve though |

I think you will be fine. Hopefully just an ignition switch or relay issue.
I don't imagine modern engines having a carbon build up.
Hopefully it will be fine for Christmas and you'll have a good time. |
