Funnily enough I put this one public and as my avatar for the Photo Challenge currently running. It’s not so clear as an avatar but feel free to click on the public pic for a better view. |

I posted my face for a while feeling like I had nothing to hide and opting for transparency .. but was recognised and received a creepy message from an unwanted local person.
And was followed round the supermarket by a guy who couldn't stop looking at me..I wondered if he had recognised me.
Gave me the heebie jeebies so I decided on discretion again. X

Understandable you’d not want to post another face pic after that experience, it certainly is a risk for one reason or another (everyone’s reason different I’m sure) that’s why on the odd occasion I post one it doesn’t stay up for too long |

I have nothing to hide. It's no one's business really, but if you're a teacher or something, I get why you'd hide your face. It might lead to some trouble. But for myself, I'm not really bothered if I get recognised. Might be a bit awkward if friends or family see me on here, but let's be honest, it's not like they can say anything, in order for them to see me on here they have to be on here too. |

"I wouldn’t fully show my face on public pics as this is a secret part of my life. I really respect those who do though! "
We are the same as you, we do have face pics on our friends only though xx |

I’m personally the same; none of my vanilla friends know about fab, so it’s just as secret but I like knowing who I’m talking to, so even if someone doesn’t have a face pic profile, if they are willing to Pm it in msgs then that works for me.

I've had messages from people wanting to meet but they won't send a face pic for reasons of discretion
I usually suggest they add me as a friend briefly and then they can just unfriend me |

Due to our jobs we don't have face pics in our public photographs, but we're happy to send them to people we're chatting to.

I usually keep mine on show and when it's not I would always send it with the first message I thinks it's fair and can save a lot of wasted time but I do fully understand that some may not show them straight away and if anyone doesn't want to show there face straight away it's cool that's there preference |
