I had that, I didn't respond to their first message, then a few minutes later I got a rather abrupt message about not replying then blocked.

I wouldn't sweat it, I see it as the trash taking itself out

I could give you a list of reasons why I block people after talking to them for a while but couldn't tell you why they did it.
