Sometimes it just doesn't click. You may both want it to but different styles, "in the now emotion", rhythm etc just don't gel.
Wouldn't say anyone is to blame but at times I think if you've built something up in your head the reality doesn't live up.

It's like seeing lots of movie trailers and reading lots of previews online about a film you really want to see. You get to the cinema on the day with your popcorn and large , excited to see the film, but you get in there and end up disappointed throughout, nothing seems to be working in what you see and you're left wondering what all the fuss was about. You leave the cinema confused, thinking surely that can't be all Sometimes all the build up and hype leaves the main unable to live up to expectations. |

I know it sounds base. But sometimes it works, overthinking (or overly descriptive conversations) can take away the ooomph. It works best for me if we have a chat about normal stuff, go for a pasty (obviously) and then proceed to ripping each other’s clothes off.

This is what I was thinking. That's why its important never to tell a woman you are going to destroy her, or shit like that. Plus, I love the forum, but certain threads where people state what they love to do and how they would do it leaves an impression on admirers of the poster. So if the 2 then meet they are expecting magic and it might have been all talk or a lack of sexual compatibility as some have said. |

Exactly. I can't cope with "naughty" talk coz then I feel pressure. I don't mind talking about what either person likes or whatnot, that's just learning and gauging stuff, but the whole "I wanna do this and I'll make you feel that" just sets things up for disappointment coz then you feel like things are expected and that when that thing happens you should feel a certain way, then if you don't feel that way it's all weird. Quite often in the whole of life the expectation is way better than reality leading to a feel of disappointment ...
Often I've also found how a person messages and how they are in life can be incredibly different ... a person given sufficient time to compose answers and banter is very different when the banter is spur of the moment |

Sharing interests and talking about likes and dislikes is healthy. I think what people are saying can be detrimental is graphic descriptions or roleplay (aka sexting). Over indulging in it, sets out a fantasy that will be hard to live up to in real life. |
