What we don't agree with is when people get into debt for Christmas.

We otherwise think the effort is worth it. It's the memories that are made that count.

No Christmas stress here. Pressies bought. Will finish wrapping tomorrow. No debt. Off work until 2nd Jan. Slowly getting pissed and taking ages to write a post without spelling mistakes!

Only as stressful as you make it.

Do Christmas your way

?

No, which is why I don't really get involved with it - I don't put decorations up, I don't buy presents (and tell everyone not to buy me any), and hate going near any shops in December. The only things I enjoy are Christmas dinner and a couple of days off of work.

Minimal presents bought here, but the rest the same.

It's not about presents, it's about presence of loved ones.

It's only stressful if you let it be! It doesn't have to cost very much at all ... exactly what you decide from 0 - ??? And it's only as commercial as you dictate, we have a commercially 0 Christmas or we wouldn't enjoy it in the slightest!

It's hard but is neither commercialised nor stressful for me.

You choose how you want it to be.

No.

I really don't understand why it's made into such a big thing. It's a few hours only and yet people devote weeks to it. It's different for children but adults need to refocus on to it as if it were Spring Bank Holiday etc.

I remember it just being pure magic when I was a kid. So yeah, I think so. I don't actually need to make the huge efforts some people do but if, like them I had people who needed or wanted me to, yeah Id do it.

I love ALL the lights. Love seeing my neighbours put their lights up. I'm a sucker for fairy lights and sparkly things all year round so this time of year rocks for me

Depends if you're doing it for you're self, or for other people. Too Many people live up to the image that living has gone and sold them. When do you stop been a product of you're envrioment and take you're own initiative be a wolf. Not a sheep.
