I have never once slept in a hotel bed that was comfortable and where I got a good night's sleep. Anyone else have this, or am I just a weirdo?

I think we all know, that you're a hotel weirdo.

I'd imagine that hardly anyone on here has had, or tried to have, a good night's sleep in a hotel bed.

I've not slept in a hotel bed since 2015 on holiday, (I slept so well though), but if you can't sleep in a hotel bed now, it's probably going to be because you are used to your own bed.

I’ve never had a good nights sleep in a hotel ever.

I have a fear of bedbugs and hotels are usually a good place to find them.

My own bed has always been my best sleep.

Same. I never sleep well. They are always too soft (which means they are never any good for sex) and the bedding is never nice. There’s one hotel in Sydney with good firm mattresses and 100% linen sheets which is the best I’ve experienced....

I've stayed in a hotel with really comfortable bed. That was 14 flying hours away though.

Depends on where you stay. I normally stay with Wyndham group, where the beds are very comfortable. Stick with Hilton, Marriot or Hyatt. You wont go wrong.

Agree with Village hotel beds and also Premier Inn beds are comfortable. Had a good sleep (and great sex) in both

Oh I would agree with you, I find Premier Inn beds are amazingly comfortable and I think you can buy them. I can't post what they are called though, the word is not acceptable for the forums!

I was very lucky enough to stay at the Savoy in London a few times and their beds are wonderful.

Have noticed that many hotels have upped their game in bed comfort. It's a big marketing tool now. I'm sure you've all seen the Lenny Henry ads.

Hiding in the shadows

I've stayed in 5* hotels, that have had the worst bed imaginable, woke up stuff, aching & sore

The comfiest ones.. Premier

Buying a H-ypnos (can't post the word properly!) mattress is definitely on my list for next year

When we returned to our room at 6am this morning we found that our hotel bed was pretty decent, we had a nice firm mattress and very crisp linen.

It was a credit to the hotel. Pity we out all Friday and

most of today to be able to sleep or fuck in it.

We check out in 15 mins too!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It is always a bit hit and miss. I've covered most price ranges and price is not a guarantee of a comfy bed. We're all so different that hotels have a challenge getting a bed that *most* will find comfortable.

Ages ago I had a Number Bed (something like that) at a hotel in Texas. You could adjust the hard/soft comfort levels. It was bliss, especially as the bed linen was deliciously crisp.
