"What’s the purpose of winking? Someone winked me two days ago, I then winked back and messaged them and they ignored me, so why wink in the first place
What makes you wink someone?"
Report them, they're obviously fake |

I always see it as a bit of an ice breaker. A wink returned I usually take as an expression of mutual interest. Which seems to be how you approach it too? |

I delete all of my winks tend to get message, wink + friend request all arriving at same time.
If one of my friends wins at me on here, then i wink back lol
In real life i wink at friends all the time - it's like a shared joke |

Is a wink not one of those things that should be useful but just gets ruined by some more “militant” members of the site shaming people who “wink but don’t message”? |

Well for me is wink is sort an ice breaker . A subtle way of showing interest if I get a wink back I take it one of two there interested too or just been polite and winking back. But once wink is exchanged I tend to message then to k ow for sure where I stand |

A wink normally means you are interested in them
Could be for a chat
Oh but we do have lives outside of here so if you expect too much you be disappointed op |

Yes but when they then ignore your message it seems a bit strange |
