So in short a mum taking her kid to see Santa had been fround apon / slammed by the public because she cald santa
Father Christmas cos it's not gender neutral.

This story is clickbait designed to make people angry. It was a small spat on social media. Its not news.
Every year we get this ridiculous "liberals wanna make father crimble gender neutral" myth popping up in some stupid pseudo-news source
It's farming people for ad money and no one actually cares that Father Christmas is a geezer. And I say that as a proud member of the "snowflake generation"

My mum bought me up
She was both mother and father
And Mother Christmas
As we now have same sex dad's
Lets have dad Christmas

A few points, people don't need to read profiles to be able to comment on the forum.
To use the forum it isn't compulsory to have perfect spelling / grammar so please don't try and humiliate people for it as it puts people off from posting

It's as reliable as my mate down the pub who has got a cousin that lives next door to this woman who once met this person on the street who told her about a guy that has a brother-in-law who had heard that...
It's just crap to fill space on the page cause they ain't got anything real to write about.

As I said above, I know a lot of people who identify as gender-queer, non-binary or other.... And none has any problems with Father Christmas.

I think the conclusion that's been reached is we aren't arguing about it. Kent live want people to THINK we are arguing about it to push ads at us when in actual fact no one cares a jot!

There was a recent post on Facebook that said President Obama always said 'Happy Holidays' at Christmas, rather than 'Happy Christmas'. It didn't take long before a video appeared of every time he said Happy Christmas, often with Michelle beside him.
It's clickbait as previously stated, slow news day create a story and an online fuss.

I might suggest though that if father xmas is deemed inappropriate then so should mother nature
I'm perfectly happy to use both however my mind is open enough to understand why nonchalant gender personification can be seen as something we should use with advanced thinking |
