Hey ho, better luck next time 
It's interesting which threads of mine take off and which don't. Feels pretty random to me. So I don't over analyse too much.

As Robert the Bruce once said... if at first you don’t succeed, spam the fuck out of the forums. 
It’s not case of your new thread is boring but a case that at that time there was a lot of activity on other threads which pushes yours down and a lot of people on here have the inability to scroll down. |

Sometimes it’s the OP
At present there are quite a few Zero or low responses - from those I’ve spoken too it seems to be Fab Fatigue .... many have lost interest |

I don't think it's about a clique. It's just about what interests people. I don't post in threads that don't interest me or where I don't have anything to say. I don't like thinking I have bored people. I'd much prefer to be engaging but you can't win them all.
My worst failure was a thread about some cultural subject which didn't get any responses, while somebody's "What's your favourite vegetable?" thread went down a blinder. Ho hum. |

It depends on the day and time of your posting, more people are active at about 7-9 pm, that's when the forums are busiest.
Never ever post anything even remotely thoughtful on a Sunday morning unless you want glib sarcastic/hungover responses. |
