I dont have a TV or kids - so Christmas doesn't really have that much impact.
I'll enjoy Christmas Day with my family, eat drink and be merry.
Then it's over.
No dramas. |

Not big fans here, just do it for the children really, before they came along we’d get booze & extra nice food in & just watch tv.
There’s most watching Xmas specials & we are on the documentary channels watching programmes about murderers etc.
Ho ho ho

I mean I get asked to spend it with friends but it always feels like I’m intruding and feel awkward so I just keep out the way. |

I have a TV, used to love Christmas Tele but a bit repetitive now, so Netflix and prime, as well as a couple of dvds as I scoff down my turkey dinner as for the family part, always a negative somewhere. |

All the fabbers who are on their own need to arrange big meets in a pub or something, I’ve see a few people say they will be on their own |

Yeah. All my friends are married with kids and it kinda makes regret not settling down and starting a family. |

The extra time off work is nice, so too is the extra food and alcohol.
We will thoroughly enjoy our time together as a couple, we love the outdoors and so will be out running and walking whenever we can.
The children will enjoy and that makes us happy.
Crimbo television specials are most definitely NOT our thing. So its documentaries and films to chill out to.

I’m a bah humbug, always results in my mother comparing presents from me and my brothers, being stood in the kitchen all day for someone to moan about the food and unwanted visitors. The build up is stressful, shops start far too early and makes it all very commercialised.
I’d be happy to spend the day in a remote house in the highlands. |

As I am having a cash flow problem at this moment if my life. I have been trying to buy everything over a few months to have stuff. But I have had to explain to some family members I not be buying gifts for them all. I just don't have the money.
So am stressed out about it.
But am lucky I have everything in I hope. And cupboards are full of normal food.
Because I feel am better of using whatever money I have to feed myself and keep the heat on.

I don't like Christmas anymore. On my own since divorce years ago, my eldest children haven't been in contact for many years. I only have my daughter now that stays in contact and she lives almost 200 miles away. Ive got very few people I can call friends. Plenty of acquaintances, most of whom are only out for what they can get. Christmas has lost all meaning. It's too commercialized and essentially about firms making money from it.
I'll be glad when next year arrives.
Bah humbug! |

I enjoy Christmas in one specific aspect, that is, the Music.
From a more traditional sense, along with the Pop Classics over time, it has some of the best tunes around for any time of year.
Growing up into my teens, we always had a quiet Xmas at home, then on leaving home into the business world, I went into Hotel Management as a trainee & soon learned that Xmas was for working whilst everyone else enjoyed themselves!
Nowadays, the hotel I work at, closes for 4 or 5 days at Xmas. I stay in as Fire & Security cover, but am used to Christmas on my own, as that has been the norm for over 10 years. |

I love it. It’s my favourite time of the year.
I think Christmas is what you make of it and we all do it differently.
For me it isn’t about running around in December shopping, it isn’t about how much I spend or what I buy. I enjoy buying for those I love but I don’t buy for anybody and everybody. I enjoy wrapping presents, I enjoy all the build up, the events like a carol service, Christmas music, decorations, my Christmas tree and goodness do I love a fairy light! the parties and gatherings but mostly I enjoy time with my family.
I wouldn’t change my Christmas for anything. It isn’t about ‘stuff’, it’s about people, playing games, laughing, eating, enjoying each other’s company |

Hi op, I quite enjoy Christmas
It’s s good time, families together, nice thinking about good things in life, rather than being miserable and looking forwards to cold January??? (What’s that all about)
I am going to celebrate every Christmas I can, enjoy it as you never know if it’s your last one!!
I’m lucky to even be here to enjoy this time of year..
So please take off you’re Scrooge attitudes and please enjoy Christmas instead |
