Threads been done a few times recently but over cooked mushy ones(no thanks) but a big thumbs up to ones cooked in garlic butter, with Parmesan cheese on the top and bacon croutons |

I'd say it's because when you're young one kids mum boils them so much that they become mushy and tasteless so he tells his mates and they all go euuuuuugh !
A lot of people then carry this hatred into adult life until they are open minded enough to try ones done properly
