To me it means being soulful and emotional. You’re more emotion lead. You go on what your senses tell you.

I'd define spiritual and following the base rules that all religions have but without the governing body, ie the Church,

Or to follow nature's way,

But I don't think being religious is being spiritual,

If that makes sense.

Delightful Bliss

Spiritual is energy to me.

I use my spiritual energy wisely, taking my time to renergise and reconnect in meditation and breathing when I feel negatively towards something, as we influence peoples moods with our own.

I dont call myself religious. I am spiritual. Growing up in the east, I have seen the full effect of spirituality. A few years ago I started taking interest in leadership which lead me to a leadership coach named John Maxwell. I now try to live and follow by the teachings of Jesus christ like some great leaders have done in the past. Example Gandhi and Mandela. But said that I cannot stand judgemental people who call themselves Christians! Not all are like that. But some of them can be real hypocrites!

Nope whatever spark of hope or comfort that could be gleaned from believing in spirituality died in me a long time ago.

Inner peace and calmness - like my mind, body and soul are all at one.

Unfortunately in reality I’m living in the midst of a bad storm that doesn’t seem to want to pass by.

Spirituality doesn’t have to be religious and is different for everyone, being able to tap into a good place as and when you want to is good

True spirituality lies in accepting that the past, the present and the future are forever entwined.

Spirituality can be many different things to people.

For me, it’s an inner core I call upon when everything around me seems to be out of kilter.

If you do not make yourself equal to God, you cannot apprehend God; for like is known by like.

Leap clear of all that is corporeal, and make yourself grown to a like expanse with that greatness which is beyond all measure; rise above all time and become eternal; then you will apprehend God. Think that for you too nothing is impossible; deem that you too are immortal, and that you are able to grasp all things in your thought, to know every craft and science; find your home in the haunts of every living creature; make yourself higher than all heights and lower than all depths; bring together in yourself all opposites of quality, heat and cold, dryness and fluidity; think that you are everywhere at once, on land, at sea, in heaven; think that you are not yet begotten, that you are in the womb, that you are young, that you are old, that you have died, that you are in the world beyond the grave; grasp in your thought all of this at once, all times and places, all substances and qualities and magnitudes together; then you can apprehend God.

But if you shut up your soul in your body, and abase yourself, and say “I know nothing, I can do nothing; I am afraid of earth and sea, I cannot mount to heaven; I know not what I was, nor what I shall be,” then what have you to do with God?

I’ll take that as a ‘yes’ then!

Intresting. I wasn't born Athiest. However I believed what you believe now. I was similar age to you when I was doing my soul searching.

Atheism is a religion. Anything created by humans is a religion. Atheists would disagree of I call them religious.
