It’s a nightmare for carers! We have to get out and about and cover calls in it. Plus it’s fine when soft but a nightmare when it turns icy.
I’m not a fan. It’s pretty to look at but that’s it. |

"Seen as it snowed this morning/last night what is everyones thoughts on snow?
Think it's great to look at but a fucking pain to drive in "
I hate driving in snow, my car is rear wheel drive. I'm always wary of skidding, I did once before and ended up in a lamp post which wrote my car off. |

Snow is just rain but prettier and a lot whiter and softer and colder but I like it and one of our kids likes it because the school bus doesn’t run so it’s a snow day!!!

We are expecting it as when it’s rain/sleet in the valley it’ll be snow 300ft up the sides usually.
4x4 a necessity here in the winter if you want to get anywhere in it. Starting to be issues here already with all the rain. River Teifi has broken out into the surrounding fields & roads in places.
Looks bloody lovely & I really would like snow on Christmas Day just so me & the dog can escape the carnage indoors for some snow crunching.

I lived in NY state for a decade. Snow for 3 months of the year. Very often over Christmas day. Sometimes waist deep in the yard until end of February.
I used to love it (apart from paying to have my drive ploughed) but that's because the country is set up for it. Everyone drives four wheel drive trucks or cars. The roads and parking lots are always ploughed. Lots of people have ploughs. Even in a big storm the trains run.
Snow in the uk is a joke. 2 inches (that would be called a sprinkle in the US north east) causes chaos. Not enough snow ploughs. Not enough four wheel drive vehicles. Shite trains. Clueless drivers.
So I don't enjoy it in England if I have somewhere to go, because travel in snow in England is a nightmare.
