I was chatting with a lady today who met a man for coffee in Costa and he turned up with a bin bag full of sex toys.

It made me laugh and got me thinking what stories could you all share with us here?

Once nearly walked into a drug deal by the river and watched someone get robbed in Leeds city centre.

I had a social where the lady went to shake my hand afterwards.

And thought it went well. Lol

Many years ago I met a man for a social drink. I emphasised that a social would never be anything but a drink. It was a Friday evening, and he excitedly told me he had his weekend bag ready in the car in case the social went well

So you sent him packing.

It was a long time ago. I explained I was working 12 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday. That's all right he said, I'll keep the bed warm for you. He couldn't grasp that not only was I not going to leave a total stranger in my house all weekend, nor was I looking for sex filled nights between 12 hour shifts

Crikey. Did you have to write it down for him to take the hint?

The drink came to an abrupt end. He was annoyed because he had a sex filled weekend planned in his head, and he genuinely couldn't grasp why I was saying no.

Blimey. It wasn't like you'd changed your mind (which should've been enough).

He was pre-warned.

He was frustrated, I get that. He had built himself up for days thinking about it. He just couldn't grasp why I was not inviting a complete stranger into my home for the weekend. But that's what this social was for he said.

A social is a social.

No an interview for a sex filled weekend.

I know, his imagination had got out if control. He had mentioned he had the weekend free and nothing to do during prior messaging. I never discussed that I was working, I just clarified a social was just a drink, there would be no going back to mine.

So did he end the social abruptly or did you?

Me, he was pushing and exasperated that he couldn't come back to mine. He genuinely couldn't see things from my perspective.

I met a guy for a coffee who appeared to have no volume control nor understanding of appropriate conversations to have in public. He kept trying to turn everything sexual and asked some very awkward questions.

I didn't stay long.

That's unreal to me. Firstly to ignore what you initially said is bad enough but to get told no and just keep pushing... What's wrong with people?
