I've actually had a cpl meets - only one Veri but it's just that it's a very small.pond here in NI - I have a specific set of criteria and it's difficult to catch someone's eye. I had to resort to putting something specific on my status page to get someone's attention. It worked but it was exhausting. Nothing came of it but it's just sooooo hard to stand out

You don’t even have any pictures to steal so why would you need a disclaimer? They just look like a lazy way to add content to your profile.

You’ve got to make the best of it.
No profile picture makes it hard.
Having no photos at all makes it really hard, nobody knows who they are talking to and unless you are super interesting then most wont be bothered to find out.
Being married also makes it hard.
So, sort the first two out. Get rid of the Facebook disclaimer (I’ve never understood what Facebook has to do with anything) and get to a social or two  |

I can relate to this post. It seems that because the women and couples are outnumbered by single guys they seem to get bombarded and struggle to respond to everyone?
I always feel like I am chasing rather than being chased but that's the way it should be?
I have days where I feel like deleting my account but then you will see positive advice on the forums and think to yourself "hang on maybe I just need to change my approach"...
I feel like my photos and profile are decent enough but also have learned not to bombard people with messages and photos...I feel my profile can always be improved but at the moment I am stuck in a rut.
Any advice welcome... |

There must be a trick to getting meets on here. I have tried everything and get nothing. Yes I know all the ladies get 100 of messages a day. But I get none except from guys. I am in the forum's I'm not confident enough to go to clubs. |
