Surely people know this by now? Why are some people so deluded that someone mailed them because they fancy *them as a person*??!
They like the pics or the 'type' of profile. (Man/ woman/ couple/ tv etc)
They don't know *you*. A few words on a profile and some close up tit pics or of sucking a random cock is all they see.
They want a fuck so they mail the profiles that don't make them scared.

Tbf as well as having a love of photography and conveying messages through it, that's another reason why we like taking pics that DO offer some insight into our personalities?

Not quite sure I agree. Yes, we take a look at the profile, it ticks a few boxes and then we send an initial message with the hope of a reply so we can get a sense of the personality behind the profile.
Most times we don't get a reply and move on, sometimes we get a reply totally devoid of personality and move on anyway.

Yes there has to be that physical connection based on looks, of course that's important.
