I usually always say thanks...if that's all they've got to say then it doesn't warrant much more of a response! Pretty much 100% of the time it's from a single guy (my profile says not looking for single guys!) or a guy posing as a couple! Standard! |

My standard thanks but no thanks is polite but to the point ....it is worded so that the recipient cannot get aggressive....but if they do then it says a whole lot more about them than their first “pleasant” message...... |

Mine aren't amazing, as I don't put effort in on my profile here, so I ignore those messages as blatantly false-sucking up-hoping for a shag-scattergun approach messages.
I do occasionally write to people saying it (_naswingdress, I am sure I have complimented your photos, which I always love). Some people have really artistic photos, beautiful underwear, or just amazing bodies. I'm not after anything though. It's an aesthetic response.
I once had a very long message about how amazing I looked and how perfect I was for the writer. Sadly I had only just opened a new profile so no pics or profile. There's a lot of pure bullshitters on here. I don't need the ego massage. |

I send a few of these complimentary-type messages, if I see a pic that I particularly like.
I'm not looking for anything other than paying the compliment, and it's nice when someone does reply with a thank you.
But reading thru the above, I can see why so many don't reply when they think it's someone looking for a way in. Which is a shame, in a way, as it's spoilt for everyone.
But I've never received a message like this. If I ever do, I'll probably faint with shock |

I generally only read and reply to messages from existing friends, so 'nice pics' messages tend to be ignored... As awful as it might sound, I'd be on here all day every day if I were to reply to absolutely everyone... Even just with a 'thanks but no thanks'  |

In our experience they're nearly always thinly disguised, incredibly dull, unimaginative opening messages which then lead to a bit of single silabul message ping pong - so I don't judge anyone for just deleting them. |

If someone has taken the time to send me a message purely telling me that my pictures are nice, then I reply with a thank you and try to fab one of theirs in return. Who doesn’t love a compliment? I have messaged people with nice photos to tell them, not because I want to meet them, purely to tell them. |

I send a couple of nice messages a day saying things like
"Great pictures, thanks for sharing "
And most of the time get back a thank you.
If someone is offended by a compliment this site may not be the best place to post pictures of their lady parts. |

99% of the time,I reply with a Thank You.
Generally they then get one more message to capture my interest and elicit a conversation, but it's good to realise that sometimes you can receive an unsolicited compliment without them asking to meet you , three messages down the line! |

Sometimes it can be a struggle with profiles just having photos and no information to go off at all to make a well formed conversation starter.
Plus it seems it doesn't matter what level of effort I put into a message 99.99876% get deleted regardless
