Why do you like Christmas?
Jump to: Newest in thread
It's a question I think about every year. Just why do people like or look forward to Christmas every year?
I can understand why some people don't look forward to it for various reasons but why do people like it?
So, for those that do like Christmas, why do you like it or look forward to it? |

When the kids were younger, I loved their excitement, and the joy on their faces when they opened their presents on Xmas morning.
Now they're all grown up, it's a chance for a few days off work, nice food, and a chance to catch up with friends over a few beers. It's nice enough, but I wouldn't say I love it. |

Usually because all my friends are off at the same time and the pubs are busy. Bumping into old friends and people I went to school with and just the generally cheery atmosphere.
When I worked in Sweden I also got 3 weeks off to come home. Unfortunately now I have a high chance to be working and away from home for most christmases. |

Yes I love it and have always loved it. To me it’s not a religious thing. It’s friends, family, food, drink, games, lots of nights out with different friend circles, presents, relaxing, time off work, lots of family get togethers. It’s just the best. I love December |
