I’m starting to think that having a face pic on my profile might be doing me more harm than good.
Other profile threads where guys talk about how successful they are, none of them have face pics. But then again they have better bodies than me. As mediocre as my face is, it’s probably my best feature.
What to do? |

I know some people find it off putting as they see it as a sign if a lack of discretion though so may thats a part of it. |

You should do what you feel comfortable with, personally when I joined I had a face picture on my profile but found that I just got random messages where now I actually get messages from people who take the time to actually read the text and understand me a little better. Obviously I get far less mail but I’m not here to get pointless messages I’m here to connect with people who have a similar mind set and I actually prefer choosing who I send it to or let see it.

I (fem) don’t think there’s anything wrong with your face. People will ask for a photo of it anyway and it’s good that you feel comfortable posting it publicly. |

I do much prefer being able to see a guys face from the get go, but also fully respect those that don't want too.. I often don't have any on public . Seems you have nothing to worry about with yours op

I have had a face photo as profile photo for some months . It works for me. It means less messaging that goes nowhere and much easier after meeting people in clubs. |
