Don’t google it!

It’s become too easy now to find the answer to things by a quick google, dong you think?

I love when a group of my mates are all chatting and we refuse to google the answer to something which is bugging us and chat about it, instead.

It was dog lyrics recently where we couldn’t remember the name of the song but it was great fun chatting about it. I felt after if it was googled the conversation would have fallen a lot flatter than what it was.

Does anyone else think this? Or felt the same? Or do you just pop you phone out and google?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've never Googled dog lyrics.

We have a rule not to Google the answer during a conversation until everyone gives up and gets too frustrated. Sometimes we just give up and move on.

Had this discussion at work only today, googling has stopped us using our brains and trying to remember things we knew!

Unfortunately conversation is a dying art and to walk into a pub and see a table of people all in their phones is really sad.

Pub conversations about the most random topics have been some of my best nights out.

We have a fun fine system in place for unnecessary use of a phone while out (basically emergencies are allowed)

I've had conversations about random things that have involved us Googling things to enhance the conversation.
