I just had a cheese and mushroom omelette, with half a sliced avocado. Hit the spot nicely!

South Wales

Scrambled egg, grilled tomatoes, crispy bacon, toast, butter and a tasty sausage with button mushrooms.

Ta-dah!

Kippers served on a bit of old roof tile, with custard in a tatty old jug. Garnished with leftover salad from the darkest recesses of your fridge.

Toasted ciabatta, cannelloni beans with chopped shallot, marinaded in cider vinegar, with plentiful chopped green herbs, seasoning, extra virgin olive oil, tsp Aleppo-style pepper, alfalfa ... Homemade lemony hummus and ripe avocado :p

Or crumpet :D

I've got a hankering for a kipper with poached egg, roasted vine tomatoes on a bed of wilted spinach and garlic. Chunks of rustic bread with proper butter on to mop up the juices and vinegar ... Mmmmmm
