We just had 4 hours of our time wasted because people would rather lie than tell the truth
And not ridiculous lies, just stupid things
Age and non smokers
They had taken at least 10 years off their ages and one of them is a smoker
We don’t meet smokers
And as far as age goes, if you’re sexy then age doesn’t matter unless you’re claiming to be younger than you actually are which is just deceitful
We just don’t understand the need to do it |

I don’t understand it either surely you will have a better time knowing whoever your meeting is interested in the actual you than some made up version? And if they don’t then they’re not for you obviously? |

I spoke to one guy recently who was 60 and had his age as 48. He went on about how he tells people before he meets them but it's not the point. Women set mail filters to prevent them being messaged by 60 year old men and its a dick move to message them in the first place. It's the same disregard for others preferences that's been mentioned. What really annoyed me is he claimed he was doing it to hide his identity. If you're going to be an inconsiderate pest then at least admit it ffs  |

I've been lied to about age.
If they lie about age then what else do they lie about? Probably everything.
I'm the other way, too honest for my own good. Hate being lied to though. |

People often tell lies on here, and in everyday life, for various reasons, sad but true.
Why lie about smoking though, if you meet, people are bound to be able to tell.
We are honest, it's the only way to be.

Because they think everyone else is stupid and they are super-clever. Because they have no respect for other people, their feelings or their time. Sometimes they are just fantasists who think they will go through with plans, then chicken out.
Sometimes their partners find their secret Fab phone.
There are genuine people with genuine reasons though. They're just rare as unicorn poo.
Don't take it to heart though. For some people Fab is just a fantasy world where you can treat people badly and it doesn't matter - because this isn't 'real life'. I think all of life is real life. Just don't get hurt by it. There are good people on here xx

Many reasons, the only good ones in my mind are when organising a wonderful surprise for someone.
I think people lie at times because they don't feel the consequences are greater than the reward. Almost a "fuck it, don't really care anyway" logic. If they knew full well the outcome would be something they'd never wish to encounter then possibly they'd think twice, or three times.
A lot is selfishness and believing they're worth more than the party they're lying to

I had a crap meet with a guy who said he was great at this that n everything, veris were simple non committal.

Laid there while he was down on me like i had Riga mortis.
Shittest time ever.
I get why he lied as no one would want him if he was honest.
Then had the cheek to ask if i wanted it on a regular basis as he followed me to my car.
It did put me off for a while.
