23 years ago today South Yorkshire Police made a huge fuck-up, as a result 96 Liverpool supporters lost their lives. The cover-up still goes on to this day. Justice For The 96. YNWA

And a moments thought too for those at Heysel?

O o O oo

Heysel was a totally different day. I am sure on that day someone can start a thread about it...but for today, it is an anniversary of 96 innocent fans being crushed to death.

Please don't start trolling a thread to cause unrest, start your own.

Always sad when there is a tragedy at a sporting event. Wishes to all the families involved and respect to those who lost their lives.

hopefully the release of the cabine t papers will bring some peace to those family members of loved ones who were derided as d*unken scum by the murdoch press , government and police of the time.

God bless them all. Whatever team you support, spare a thought for the families that lost loved ones on that fateful day. RIP.

Here we go again! Liverpool fans basking in their own sorrow. Calling for this , that and the other. Its almost an annual event

Aint it strange the Liverpool mindless dont shout as much about the disaster they caused at the Heysel Stadium 29th May 1985.

Where's the sympathy from them to the Juventus fans and their bereaved families?

Some of those injured and maimed there "Will Never Walk Again"

The Town by The Cross

What disaster was caused by Liverpool People at Heysel?

Explain fully with supporting evidence and logic.

Thanks

If you google the disaster and scroll down to the third from the bottom, you will be able to read what LFC does and has done to remember Heysel.

Like every football tragedy, people remeber the victims in it. Today is about the Hillsborough tragedy where 96 children/ women and men lost their lives.

When the Heysel date comes around I am sure if you start a thread people will add to that too, but for now, as asked up there, please don't post just to cause unrest, as it isn't pleasant.

Newcastle and Gateshead

it is one of the days as a football fan you truely will never forget... and the world will remember those 96 that dies

but as has been proved this week with the alan davies "faux controversy" it feels like you can't even have a sensible or reasonable conversation about the topic without sturring up a hornets net... and for people to get upset for the fact that it produces good copy...
