Had to cancel night out at Liberty's last night & overnight stay. Cancelled tonight's plans.

Regular salt water gargling and paracetamol/ibuprofen are your best bet. It'll go away in a few days.

Avoid antibiotics unless you absolutely have to have them because antibiotic resistance is becoming a big problem.

I was gargling all sorts, taking painkillers, sucking cough sweets, sipping water, and I found hot water on my neck helped, weirdly.

I went to the doctor when I felt the pain beginning to radiate towards my ear and I stopped feeling like eating.
