Most tattoos people get are personal and for personal reasons, just because you see someone, even with a badly done tattoo, it still means something to that person wether it be a particular memory or just a time in life. Also in this day and age where laser is easily accessible and cover ups can be better than the original I see no reason why anyone would or should come to regret their choice |

"So over the last few years tatoos are getting more popular on young women these days yes I know guys as well question being do you think you might regret in years to come " why would they? The perception of tattoos and the people that have tattoos has changed dramatically over the past 30 years and I don’t ever see it going backwards. Personally I love women with tattoos.

"No regrets, not if you plan and design correctly, and even without that cover up artist's are amazing these days"
The one on my chest is a cover and it's perfect. The one under it was done by Lal Hardy about thirty years ago, it was still intact but quite faded. The one on my arm he did a couple of years later is faded but hasn't bled at all. You get what you pay for. Do it on the cheap and it'll look like you did. |

I may no longer be classed as a young woman but I am an inked (quite a lot) middle aged woman with absolutely no regrets for getting any of my tattoos, and I will have more.
My skin will age in time, my ink may fade or even change shape but the person wearing this skin will not regret having it done.
I have memories of chatting to my old grampa and asking him to tell me all about the faded anchor on his forearm. He would recall being in the Navy, getting d*unk and getting inked with his pals ... my old grampa relived the fond memories with a sparkle of happiness in his eyes and a wicked smile.
That's what I want, to talk about my ink with family or strangers because it's part of me.

I'd much rather regret something I've done than something I haven't done x |

Other than regretting them because they are very recognisable, stopping me putting pics up. I won’t regret any of my tattoos, even the ones I now dislike, I’ll just get them covered up.
None of my tats have meaning and I even have a black leg.. |

My grandad’s navy tats were always what initially got me interested. When each one had a story behind it of “the lads” god rest his wicked sole ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I don't have any tattoos, bit weird these days I know, but my inked friends keep telling me I'm an attention seeking freak. Should I go for something tasteful and discreet like a loveheart or a flower on my arse or simply change my friends? ![](/icons/s/sad.gif) |

Get a flower tramp stamp. Uninked people are just so wrong. You'll regret it when you're 60. |
