And here we have it; my first take on what I am informed is the penultimate day of votable categories to honour the qualities of those who merit them...
First the Wtf?? Forum Post of the year, and predictably as with a lot of today's awards it's a case of digging out one from probably millions as the forums are often a case of complete and utter lunacy, visited regularly by the certifiably insane, the cluelessly inept and even those who do have more than two brain cells to rub together are prone to moments that to describe them as absent minded would be putting it mildly... But here's the examples that I've noticed...

A gem posted by a man who joined the site around March? this year, hungry for plenty of "Ladys" with which to bury his "Beefy Length" inside. His was an introductions thread that filled up in a couple of hours as forumites couldn't believe not only his posts, but the profile of the man himself! Most of the time hasn't a bad word to say about anyone, unless they make a twat of themselves to the masses and is the personification of inoffensive?
Take my/Retern of Beefy Length. Sadly this man is limited to ghosting the forums now like a Phantom, keeping his watchful eye over his flock of "Ladys"...Aside from in the Secret Service threads of course! But the Beef made up for this by initiating naughty chat with half the fair maidens on here, a man who can get a draft proposal for a 5 or 6some (I lost track in the end) with many of the forum femmes is certainly not to be sniffed at!
Just my opinion of course, but these 3 HAVE to be in with a shout surely?

Anyway now onto the White Knight Award, given to those wanting the forum to view their gallantry, for the bloke typing on his keyboard safe in his bed, hundreds of miles away from BOTH the lady he is defending AND the man who dares to commit the most heinous crime akin to treason of saying something possibly controversial is every bit as noble as the knights of old, pulling a spear from a dying horse on the battlefield and using it to defend his king!
My nominees for this award are few, but Spillkit gets a mention, as does Joel Dorian in his earlier days till he got bored of repeating himself. Oh and Chunky Gent as an outside bet, but he's to be considered a long shot as he's actually much too pleasant to actually slay foes with a sharp tongue in place of a broad sword most of the time!
None of these are probably anywhere near the Greatest examples of White Knights on here at all btw. They merely playfully pick up a lance from time to time and wave it about a bit. It's just that 98% of these dashing defenders of the fanny are usually on Fab for 2 weeks and find out that even being so noble does not guarantee them success in the Quest for their own Holy Grail (which on Fab is the oft-mentioned being knee deep in clunge) So they fuck off.

And finally. Onto the Gone But Not Forgotten award...a testament to those who have touched the souls of the forum and left a permanent hand print upon the hearts!
3 favourite candidates spring to mind;
Firstly Tame. I'm sure he'll be back on a good few occasions as it's what he does, but for the time-being we all have to exist in a Tame-less void. Love him or loathe him, he certainly couldn't be ignored with his caustic, often skirting the boundaries of good taste brand of humour and you know that oft quoted saying "Don't take Fab too seriously?" Well he was the personification of THAT!
Then Diamond Joe. I once brought a friend I worked with back to P's after a job in Brummieland, this guy had never been on Fab, he used another site thtrhymes with Legs eleven occasionally, but even he had heard of the Leg End that is Diamond Joe which speaks volumes for the man's reputation preceeding him! P once told me that she may not have had the inclination to get under Diamond Joe, but she sure as hell wanted to get on it with him!
And finally. Take my Beefy sodding Length. A man whose Forum hiatus was short-lived, I think he lasted all of a week on here before he controversially disappeared into the other, in clandestine circumstances (ie probably suspended by the mods) But in that time he somehow managed to ram a thread in 2 hours flat I believe, went on a posting marathon whereby no one could forget his inclusion in a single one and somehow not only secured the rough arrangement of an MFFFFF with 5 or so of Fab's finest fillies, but won the heart of a certain Pull My Finger in the process.
A testament in every regard to what not to include on your profile originally, yet thought of warmly by all! Also lends a new meaning to Not Forgotten as he has set up a second profile "Retern of Beefy Length" and monitors the goings on on the forum very closely going by his statuses and makes sure his voice is still heard whenever there's a Secret Service thread.
The man, The Phantom, The ghost who walks the forums, a bit like in Defenders of the Earth!
