Pride came around because of Stonewall. Straight people have never been oppressed, attacked, had to live in hiding etc. Even now being openly LGBT+ can bring a risk to life. |

Because Gay Pride isn't just about standing up and being proud of your sexuality - it's about the fight gay people have had for equality, what people have sacrificed along the way, and highlighting ongoing injustices.

Why not it's just a topic like any other,I find it interesting to be honest. As a straight woman I certainly feel in the minority in this place,I really didn't realise there was so many bisexual women around. It makes me wonder if this is representative outside of Fab. |

Every day is straight pride. When you've been attacked because of who you love you can have a straight pride. Pride isn't about sex it's about love. Astonishes me people don't get that. |

Technically I'd suggest using the word straight euphemistically for exclusively heterosexual would be a tad disrespectful towards non exclusive hetro or bi or homosexual people as its implications are non exclusive hetro people are bent and despite many not thinking words are important the word bent is a negative insinuation not a positive
