"I know this will fall on deaf ears ...
Do you need another pair? "
Well, need is subjective here. In terms of absolute need the answer would be no. I have many, many shoes. In terms of do I need shoes in that colour to go with those clothes the answer would be yes, if I want to complete the outfit.

Then you'll need a scarf and hand bag to match |

"Yes, buy them in a size 3 and when they don't fit send them to a very willing and thankful recipient (aka me)
P"
I'm buying them in size 3 because I wear size 3. I've got loads barely worn that you could have. |

"Do you have enough? Do you need another pair? Why not put the money to better use seeing as its Christmas? "
I have earned enough this year so I have been donating the same amount I spend on myself. If it's food then I donate to a food bank. If it's clothes I donate to Crisis. If it's books I donate to care leavers. If it's shoes I donate to a women's refuge. I won't be able to afford to do this next year.
These shoes would generate another donation to women.

What a wonderful thing to do. Definitely a good reason to buy the shoes! |

"Should I buy another pair of shoes?
As long as I don't have to fit them in my side if the wardrobe... then yes"
I think it's safe to say that you won't have to fit them in your wardrobe.

I didn't realise the Avon stretched as far as Bradford.
I haven't been to Wiltshire in the last year.

"Shoes are the sole to your heart.
Flats keep you grounded
Heels help you rise above challenges"
This is the best answer yet....I'm storing this in my excuse box for when hubby say..." what another pair " |

I like that but... I love heels and they are my challenge now. I have Lupus and the pain of heels isn't enough to justify how pretty they are.

What shoes do secret agents wear?
....Sneakers.

That's my level of jokes.
I should revive the Christmas cracker jokes before I depart.

"My shoes are due in the next 12 hours.
What do your shoes look like? Will you wear them at the MLS? "
They are just tortoise shell patent loafers. I haven't quite decided what I'm wearing to the MLS. |

It's illegal to buy yourself slippers at this time of year. You can't remove people's gift options (at my age). |

"Should I buy another pair of shoes?
You clearly need them, as the precise number of pairs you need, is always one more than you already have, so YES."
Don't encourage me further. I bought, they arrived. See my avatar. |

"Ah but did you get a bag to match?? "
No. I have too many bags, which I need to pass on. I have a damaged shoulder so I have to resist getting matching bags and get practical bags. |

Mr KC has a rule which says that for every bag I buy I have to get rid of one! He has a rule - I don't!! My collection gets larger . . . |

That rule doesn't make sense for bags. Different bags for different outfits and occasions (unless you can't afford that, you're really practical or, like me, you have to have boring bags to go with your boring shoes now ). |

I refuse to adopt donkeys. I love donkeys but they get more donations than homeless people.

Take your shoe money and buy a Turkey for the local homeless shelter..... |

"Do you really need them OP? If not donate half the money to charity, you’ll feel much better about yourself than with a pair of shoes that’ll probably never see daylight in their lifetime. "
See above.

Boots, if possible especially ones that are like a countryside style but high fashion. Country for the grip when it gets icy, the high fashion so you can wear it to a nice establishment like greggs and not look odd. |

I've just cleared out 15 pairs of shoes, boots and sandals to take to charity. I've accepted that my old feet can't manage those cute slingbacks and steep wedges anymore.
Thanks for your help, Fabsters. |

"Should I buy another pair of shoes?
Why the ?
Everyone knows this is a rhetorical question
I bought two pairs. At the time it was a genuine tussle with my conscience."
I'm taking this to mean that the tussle was about whether to buy more than two pairs. |

Exactly why I ignore his rule!!! I'm a bag lover - not designer bags - can't afford them and couldn't justify their price.
I've spent most of life eeking by so I figure if I see something now I want I buy it - I'll.always be a bargain hunter though |

Why are men saying ‘do you really *need* the shoes?’
Of course they are needed, to wear and fulfill a desire.
Guys please stop asking such a daft question... |

If it's a pair of " sketchers" other brands are availible. Then no, if it's heels, of course dharling.
Men, if you wish to ride the horse, then you have to maintain and shoe it! A lame horse is no good to anyone. |
