Hi all just thought I would post this and tell of the success I have had using an electronic ciggie I am 26 now and been smoking on off for the last 10 years. last year I came to the realization of how much impact this has had to my health, my last attended to quit was in January and I lasted the grand total of one day I thought I’d never be able to kick the habit until I purchased an electronic cigarette still sceptical I thought I’d give it a go I’ve been on them now 5 weeks and although I still have the addiction I am totally smoke free and really feeling the benefits im not coughing or getting out of breath so much my endurance in bed has increased tenfold. The best thing I have done and recommend it to anyone  |

we are 15 weeks and 13 weeks fag free here thanks to electric cigs and i never thought i'd see the day Mr B went without a fag but he is a total convert and i truelly believe this is it for him i can't see him going back to fags ever again as he has seen how much his health has improved already
i've managed to stop using mine now although i do have it on hand for nights out to stop me straying to the fags when drinking but Mr B is still on his but even if he has to use it forever i don't care i'm just happy to have him able to breath again, he hopes to wean himself off it eventually though and i'm sure he will but no rush
we would recommend them to anyone trying to quit  |

i know loads of people who use the leccy ciggies, what i want to know is when do you kick them? as i know one guys whos been using his for 3 years now lol |

they aint sold as a stop smoking aid, just a way to get the nicotine fix without the asscociated crap you get with normal cigs,
all you are inhaling is nicotine along with a water&Glycol mix, which produces water vapour when you exhale,
water @ glycol is the same stuff as used in smoke machines at concerts, theatre events etc

That's the thing with them as its the nicotine smokers are addicted too so some people then become addicted to whatever nicotine replacement they use. |

have been using a genesis e cig for 4 weeks now....not even got a slight craving for a normal cig
who set up for two cigs was less than 25 quid.....from someone who smoked 15-20 a day i know have about 15 drags a day.....
the e cigs are very effective...andy |

Thing is though, a lot of people (myself included) enjoy smoking and don't want to stop outright - it is something that gives them pleasure &/or stress relief and docs agree it's a damn sight better being on the ecigs than normal - so surely that's a good thing for those that don't *want* off them?
Been tempted for a while myself, had a draw off one from a mate, wasn't really impressed or unimpressed especially but it was just one draw so don't want to judge them off that! |

I saw that in an article about smokers patches, several who had left comments, said they had now become addicted to all sorts of nicotine replacement stuff, seems totally illogical then |

I spoke to someone on Sunday, they have gone from a 35 day habit to 5 though they have only just started |

That's what I think, I do understand how hard it is to give up I have tried for ages and used all sorts. I will say again to anyone who wants to give up try the easy way to stop smoking by Alan Carr. You can get it dirt cheap off Internet no need to stop smoking while you read it and a cheaper than to stop buying cigs and buy nicotine replacement in any form. |

That's what I think, I do understand how hard it is to give up I have tried for ages and used all sorts. I will say again to anyone who wants to give up try the easy way to stop smoking by Alan Carr. its all to do with willpower once you are atticted to nicoten you always will be,
its not just a case of getting it out your system and u will be fine the nicoteen recepters in you brain will always lay dorment waiting till that fist drag and bang they strike with vengance |

I bought my e cig from VIP and found it to be one of the cheapest online and cant fault it . They allways have special deals and the cartomisers are very reasonable to replace . My starter kit cost 25 pounds |

Mr B's is from miniciggy and mine is totally wicked
we have different ones as we have different needs
Mr B likes ease and miniciggy is dead easy as it is cartomisers
i like totally wicked as you can have different flavour liquids you add to your e fag and i like variety |

I've been looking at getting one as the mouth spray I am using burns my tongue and gives me hiccups but it works so I put up with it my question is what ecig does anyone recommend I don't want anything that tastes nasty but I want one that works can any one help please ?xx |

i had the spray and had the same problem was hiccuping for ages after the e-cigg i got is e-lites i dont know if its the best its the only one i tried but it works for me |
