Welsh ppl with a valleys accent say monkey and mankey exactly same! It took me ages to click when my ex was explaining about her colleagues "monkey teeth".... ... I was like "wtf are monkey teeth baby?" And she's like "nooooooahhhh, not monkey teeth, monkey teeth Steevannn!". So I'm like "that's what I said darling, monkey Teeth", and she's like "noooahhhh Steevannn!!!!", and so it went on for about twenty minutes before she finally wrote the words down so I could understand.....  |
