If she has past, and I hope she hasn’t, it wouldn’t be announced straight away. There are things that need to be put in place along with contacting all the family.

The Facebook post that started it all read as follows:
At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (November 30, 2019), our beloved monarch Queen Elizabeth II passed away. Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926 in London. She will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.
I think it's safe to say that it's a hoax! |

it won't be news flashes.....
If the Queen’s death is expected, the news will spread via the main TV channels first, with all BBC channel programmes being paused to show the BBC One feed, which will show of her passing. Newsreaders will be expected to wear black suits and ties which they keep on standby with them at all times. |

Would anybody believe that!?
Its like the ones that say "I know which of my friends will repost this." followed by some rubbish about supporting some cause or another and accusing anyone who doesn't share it of being unfeeling. |

It started as a supposed WhatsApp message from a military bod telling his mates. No one senior enough to be told before it’s public is going to tell the lads on WhatsApp before it’s announced.

It reminds me of how in the 80s a journalist tapped into the royal machine practising what they would do when the Queen mother died, but didn't realise it was a drill. His organisation was rather red-faced after they announced the death. |
