It's that time of year especially
Jump to: Newest in thread
When I think of others who have no-one or nothing at Christmas. Usually on Boxing day I make a lot of food, soup etc and take it too the homeless. Because I'm working this year I dont have time so instead I'm bringing one of my clients to my home for Christmas dinner as she has no family.
Anyone else doing a random act of kindness? |

Yes, we are cooking dinner for an extra 4 (possibly more) people, all elderly that have no family and have a 3 course meal plus presents for them to enjoy with our family.
This is the 3rd year running we have done this xx |

That’s lovely if you!
We are having a single friend round on Christmas Day as he can’t be with his family. But he’s a good friend so it’s no bother really. |

I work in this sector and this time of year intensifies the situation even more I’ll be doing some outreach work in my Christmas holidays. Every little act of kindness helps and can have a huge impact on another’s life. |

We normally do a reverse advent for a local food bank - this year's almost ready to go. We do basic non-perishable and some luxury items as well. We also donate new toys to a charity near us as well. This year I've also decided to do a few hampers of luxury items and essentials for mums and newborns at the neonatal near us as well for personal reasons.
What you're doing is truly lovely OP, x |

I'll be on a 12 hour shift caring for ppl while their loved ones go out for Christmas day. I think holding my tongue is as much as I'll manage this year (yes. My service user really is being left for the day while her husband goes out) |

My children and I volunteer on Christmas day (specifically 'Team Elf', that make and run Santa's grotto). We fed 200 people last year.
I couldn't do Christmas any other way now. |
