I'm not a fan of tictok. When talking with a social worker friend about my son going on there she was telling me it's a playground for pedophiles. I believe you turn off messaging, I'd advise anyone with children using tictok to check there settings and make sure there not open to random people contacting them |

Some bloke who looked about 35-40 with a screen name "kinky daddy" was messaging my 10 year old ffs, I guess a lesson learned but it's a scary place! |

I like it and there are some good accounts I follow who use it well. I make the odd video for fun. But I do think it's full of so many girls who look incredibly young who are singing and dancing inappropriately. I saw a girl on there who looked about 12 years old singing about pornhub and men touching themselves over her. TikTok say they don't encourage anything sexual but I'd hate my kid to be on there. |

its scary the only thing you can really do is make sure you educate them about being online and tell them if they want to use things like tiktok you will be checking there accounts every now and then and if they ever feel that something isn't quit right they can speak to you about it without getting in trouble. my son will always speak to me if he gets messages from someone he doesn't know online and if he thinks there is anything suspect with it he just reports them |

My girl is good about. Ive expalined that the cute boy whos 15 and from london could well be george 67 in a string vest from wales. She also knows as i pay for the phone i can go thro it at any time. Has real life incident in the summer tho when a old guy was asking her if she like sucking cock....shes 14 and looks it! |

People complaining their 10 year old get messages.
1) it's 13+
2) disable messages
3) educate children
4) monitor them!
My almost 10 year old has some tiktok videos. They're on MY account. I show him likes and nice comments. Anything else is deleted and I monitor everything he watches. |
