Get a mini Panettone from Aldi or Lidl to try. Stollen is available as mini bites (Lidl, but you'll get a lot of them) or as a cake. It's almond/marzipan do don't do it if you don't like almonds.

What's a Fab Advent Calendar?
About six years ago I hit on the idea of us having a Fab Advent Calendar. Volunteers would be given a day and they would post a picture or offer to send one.
Wishy (probably before your time) and his Brussels Sprouts is remembered with fondness.
