How polite is your profile?

I was compliemented today on our profile being " extremely polite" lol
do you consider yours to be overly polite?
It was not a concious thing with us, i guess in real life i always try to use my manners and maybe this came across in our profile.  |

mine could be perceived as being quite arrogant really
i prefer to think of it as 'to the point' will little room for assumption by the reader about what i might be interested in
i am far friendlier in reality than the profile might suggest |

mines just me, not polite not rude, i just put what im after but try not to come over as demanding like some womens profiles, i think its ok, just normal lol |

i hope its polite, i was more concerned with it being friendly explaining what we are looking for. i hate shouty aggressive profiles.
i do say thank you for reading and offer a cooked breakfast...

If attempting to provide potential partners with up-front relevant information constitutes a polite profile…… then yes, I hope mine does come-over as being polite….!.

We think ours is polite and reflects us both, a little humour and more importantly what we are looking for on here. We have met some lovely well mannered people and fortunately have not had any rude messages   |

Our profile text was written 2 years ago and hasn't changed, I think my OH put an update on it but I don't actually read the text of our profile. It took me a few minutes to write, didn't put a great deal of thought into it, I just wrote freely about who we are and what we like.
It isn't aggressive or brash because I'm not, it reflects our personality. I think its polite but of course it is up to the reader to make their own interpretation of it |

I tried to keep ours short and sweet. People that read it will hopefully want to know more. People that don't read it and send one word mails aren't our type anyway. No point writing a rant on our profile that they won't read. 
We don't specify what we're looking for as it changes all the time. I do like polite profiles but I also totally understand the rants! |

We would like to think ours is polite, with a genarous portion of humour sprinkled over it..
We are very polite and unassuming people and we would hope that politeness and the humour gives a fair reflection of ourselves..
However..unfortunately due to idiots who cant read we had to issue a 'bit of guidance' at the beginning as we are sick of people just sending friends invites for no apparent reason. |

Don't consider ours to be overly polite but then we wouldn't consider it to be rude or shouty either.

think ours is basic but does the job required
