It's perfectly normal to start a conversation with a stranger and you should be able to tell if they're interested fairly quickly without feeling any need for rejection. |

I would say the chances of it being a swinging couple looking for a guy to join them in a normal pub is slim but hey you've got to be in it to win it

The so called that look can be easily misinterpreted.. maybe first try observing if she maintains eye contact with you for more than couple of seconds.. raise your glass with a smile.. see what comes up. Then get your armour ready and go |

I was in a train and the woman in a couple kept staring at me through the window reflection, I looked back and we maintained eye contact for pretty much the duration of the journey. I didn't dare approach though her partner looked like trouble.  |

They're telling you to be wary of approaching a woman in a pub that's in a couple.
And one woman said to make sure the "I want you" look you think you're getting is actually that look rather than her being friendly etc

I once saw someone in a forum post say they like to say to people “hope you’re having a fab day” or something like that. We should definitely try to make this a thing |
