So couple of women I met was happy to give me verifications. I politely declined, as I felt like giving reviews on a TripAdvisor.
If I had to give a review for a woman I had sex with, it will go along these lines.....

I'm not that fussed about verifications either. If you feel Trip Advisor-ish you don't have to display them. Some are a nice memory of your time with someone. If you never get any, you'll limit your options on here as a lot of people won't meet the unverified. As long as you're OK with that, there's no issue with what you do. |

I quite like leaving daft, creative ones. And I love receiving them. They make me smile - even if I don't display them I see them more of a sweet letter rather than anything more.
I don't mind if a person doesn't veri me, not all of the people I meet do for a myriad of reasons. The only time I do is if they say they are going to and then don't. But that's more because I'm a bit of a stickler for people doing things saying they will. |

Creative veris that make you smile are the best (love yours Mavis, cracking). IKEA pencils come to mind, I digress, we display some but it's not important we do so people know we meet and are genuine. Not bothered about receiving them but they do make us feel good and knowing what stuck in their minds the most. Never thought of it as Tripadvisorish or as a review really but totally get what you guys mean here. |

We like having them as we hope it shows we are genuine and who we say we are. Also shows people we are active and meeting.
Can’t stand the ones where a guy explains in detail what he did sexually, such a turn off. Would put us off meeting someone who left such a ‘review’.
We always tends to read a profiles verifications prior to agreeing a meet though as some can be useful to help u build up a picture of the person they are and how they will act/behave |

We find there are still clues... you get more of a picture as you look across multiple verifications and see patterns start to develop. If, just as a fictional example, you read a couple's verifications and 4 out of the ten say the lady is quite shy, then there is the start of a pattern. Shy can mean many things.
Anyway that's how we read and use verifications. Use or don't use them as you see fit.

I’m happy to show mine. 90% are social ones. I think it’s kind of people to write such lovely things and wouldn’t want them to feel bad that I didn’t show theirs.
I have had some rather rude messages about the number of them but as I say the vast majority are social ones and I’f I’m a monster for going for a bacon butty on a Thursday morning then so be it! |

I only show my social veris, other veris are hidden for a reason. They are between myself and that individual, none are crude but just a fun reminder of our time together.
I do read veris, they give you an indication of the person, but take them with a pinch of salt and make up my own mind. Some will put me off someone along with other parts of their profile. |

I do think that veris *can* be what the person wants you to see them as. Let's go with the assumption that someone only displays a percentage of veris. Yes they might all have person x is y and z but that might be because X has filtered and chosen to show veris that reflect how they want to be seen,rather than who they are.
Also, veris aren't a stone tablet of how a person will be with you. You might find a person shy and retiring, others might see them as the life and soul of the party. I wouldn't put too much weight on them. |

So my point if why go through the hassle of reading through all the veris, when you can take a few mins of your time to have a chat with them and make your own decision? |
